Welcome

A church where everybody is somebody

At Saint John’s Baptist Church of Scotch Plains, NJ our mission is to reach people for Jesus Christ and help them grow to become more like Him. We are a church where everybody is somebody, and every member is called to be a faithful witness for Jesus Christ, sharing His love, truth, and hope in everyday life.

Grounded in the Baptist tradition, we are a community of believers united by faith in Jesus, baptized as a sign of our commitment to Him, and joined together to worship, grow, and serve. Through heartfelt worship, sound biblical teaching, genuine fellowship, and active outreach, we seek to glorify God and make Christ known to the world.

Our vision

Where we are going together

Our vision at Saint John’s Baptist Church of Scotch Plains, NJ is to be a Christ-centered, Spirit-led community where lives are transformed, disciples are made, and every believer is equipped to be a bold witness for Jesus Christ, in our homes, our city, and the world.
